#BISretreat Testimonies:

I am so grateful my big sis said “yes” to attending the #bisretreat with me again this year. Last year it was a hesitant “yes.” You know the kind that you say “yes” to but aren’t really sure what you are getting yourself into or what to expect but when it’s all said and done you are so happy that you did! We promised each other this retreat to bond over, recharge, grow in our faith, & share our own sisterhood with our #bissisterhood. It has been the best pinky promise we have made to each other to date. . . . // Mytae

When retreat is equal parts Spirit-filled goodness and slumber party fun with your girlfriends. I’m coming home from #bisretreat reflecting on three words I think describe each person of the Trinity for me. Father is faithful, Son is reckless, and Holy Spirit is WILD. Each word describes a unique relationship with each person. Father help me never forget Your promises. Jesus let me never get tired soaking in Your reckless love and grace and mercy. Come pursue and woo my heart in new ways. Holy Spirit do wild, crazy, creative things in and through my life. May I never settle for mediocrity but live in boldness. // Patty

Sister in Christ Y’all this weekend has been PHENOMENAL omgosh I can’t even. God is sooo good and I feel R E N E W E D & my heart is soo on fire for my God HIGHLY encourage you to check out a Blessed is She retreat. // Kathryn

Just one of those perfect weekends with my Blessed Is She sisters. I spoke with so many phenomenal women who shared their hearts. It was wild. // Samantha

What an awesome gift it was to spend the entire day with 300+ women. Diving into our faith, unleashing the wildness in our lives, and be able to worship together as beloved daughters of God. It was exactly what my heart needed. #bisretreat // Nykole

Thankful for such a beautiful weekend full of untamed, unashamed, and unleashed love for Jesus Christ #BISretreat #wild // Sophia

A site coordinator shares her experience:

As the Adult Faith Coordinator for our Parish I did not really have a clue who Blessed Is She was or what they were all about. Honestly, I was just thrilled they were coming because it meant an awesome retreat for the women of our Parish and awesome speakers that normally our parish would not have been able to afford. The Blessed Is She staff went from strangers to friends in a matter of a day. They each had a passion for their faith and were exploding with love and energy to share God’s love that was contagious. Towards the end of the retreat I realized for me personally that this ministry was reaching people of every age but more importantly it was reaching young adults and young moms. This was an area that as an adult faith coordinator I realized I was not hitting. God really used the retreat to open my eyes to ways I could better serve His people and we have since started Blessed Is She Gatherings at our Parish.
