Who writes for you?
Our writers are Catholic women on every journey and stage of life, from grandmothers to college students, working moms, married women, single women, moms of many and moms of one, Godmothers, aunts, daughters, household managers, speakers, and writers who are dedicated to sharing their stories with you to give honor and glory to God.
How do I write for you?
Our writing team evolves organically over time. We have open applications to contribute to the BIS Blog as well as an application for the Devotional Writing team!
Where are you located?
We are headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. But our operational staff and writing staff span the United States (and Canada!) from California to New York, Minnesota to Louisiana, and everywhere in between.
What do you write about?
We are story-tellers. We share how Scripture and our Faith have woven together the strands of our lives. We share our wounds, miracles, encounters, and lessons learned. We share from our hearts to yours.
Who checks what you write?
We have an in-depth and lengthy editing process. Our Managing Editor works with the writers for content and copy editing, and our Theological Editors work with the writers to ensure everything we assert and share is in line with the teachings of the Catholic Faith, faithful to the doctrines and dogmas. We work closely with our spiritual director and many other faithful, orthodox priests to ensure our retreats and video content are also aligned with Church teaching.
Is Blessed Is She orthodox to Catholic teaching?
We are obedient to Church teaching and to the Bishop of Phoenix's guidance on all matters of faith and doctrine.
