Prayer Pledge // Day 12

Week Two // Veni Creator Spiritus

Come, Holy Spirit, Creator blest,
and in our souls take up Thy rest;
come with Thy grace and heavenly aid
to fill the hearts which Thou hast made.

O comforter, to Thee we cry,
O heavenly gift of God Most High,
O fount of life and fire of love,
and sweet anointing from above.

Thou in Thy sevenfold gifts are known;
Thou, finger of God's hand we own;
Thou, promise of the Father, Thou
Who dost the tongue with power imbue.

Kindle our sense from above,
and make our hearts o'erflow with love;
with patience firm and virtue high
the weakness of our flesh supply.

Far from us drive the foe we dread,
and grant us Thy peace instead;
so shall we not, with Thee for guide,
turn from the path of life aside.

Oh, may Thy grace on us bestow
the Father and the Son to know;
and Thee, through endless times confessed,
of both the eternal Spirit blest.

Now to the Father and the Son,
Who rose from death, be glory given,
with Thou, O Holy Comforter,
henceforth by all in earth and heaven.
Amen.

Week Two Intention

We pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our families.

Week Two // Day Seven

Now to the Father and the Son,
Who rose from death, be glory given,
with Thou, O Holy Comforter,
henceforth by all in earth and heaven.

Do not be afraid to live your Catholic Faith. Do not be afraid to be a Saint. Do not be afraid. Do not fear. Live your Catholic Faith fearlessly and joyfully!

God has ordained you, my dear sister, to live during this specific time in history. You, who are filled with the Holy Spirit, can lead others to holiness through your witness of love! You have the power and strength, through the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to work miracles! Do not be afraid to do the great things the Holy Spirit is asking you to do!

Breathe the breath of the Holy Spirit into the lives of your family, into the lives of your friends, into the lives that are broken from sorrow and sin. You have the most powerful gift, the gift of the Holy Spirit! Hearts are yearning for this gift, the gift that you carry deep within your being. Do not be afraid to share the gift of the Holy Spirit with those around you!

Ask people to pray with you, lay your hands on them in prayer, speak of the miracles that God is working in your life! The world needs to hear what you have to say! Follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, run with Him wherever He is leading you. When you do this you glorify God in your life, and you build His kingdom. You have the gift of the Holy Spirit; do not be afraid to share Him with others. You, my sister, are called to be His Saint. Do not fear, for your reward, your crown, will be great.

Pray a Hail Mary, asking Mother Mary to send her Spouse, the Holy Spirit into your heart.

Prayer + Discussion for Prayer Partners

Asking the help of the Saint you named on Day 4 of this week, offer your year to the Holy Spirit, consecrating it to Him. Say a prayer from your heart. Or pray this one:

O Holy Spirit of light and love, I trust in You and I consecrate to You my intellect, my heart, my will and my whole being for time and for eternity.

Now to the Father and the Son, Who rose from death, be glory given, with Thou, O Holy Comforter, henceforth by all in earth and heaven. #BISblog #prayerpledge //Click to tweet Twitter [
