You know, for a long time, I’ve been saying, “I want a heart that burns for you.” But today, I realized I want a heart that rests in Him. Letting Go of Control
I’ve had my share of struggles with resolutions, especially during Lent. I often feel like I have to do it all perfectly, and when I don’t, I get frustrated. But what if we approached this season differently? What if we just let Jesus take the reins? I’ve been praying, “Lord, what do you want me to do this Lent?” It’s a heart of surrender, allowing Him to prune us and guide us.
Resting Under the Olive Tree
Imagine being like an olive tree in the garden of your soul, where Jesus is the Gardener. He knows what needs to be pruned and how to help us grow. We don’t have to have all the answers or a 40-day plan. Instead, we can rest in His love, trusting that He is doing the work in us.
