A Thrill of Hope: Advent Devotional for Catholic Women

This Advent devotional invites you to deepen your hope in the Lord with the Blessed is She sisterhood this Advent season. With A Thrill of Hope, you'll grow in your journey with hope, all alongside four women in Scripture and supported by a community of women seeking the same. 

Link arms with us, to be “women on our way,” buoyed by hope, bearers of hope for and with each other.

What is the theme?

Our Narrator, Liz Kelly, draws from her own personal meditation on the scriptural examples of four women in the Bible: Eve, Sarah, Ruth, and Mary. Each was a woman on her way, each hoping for a Savior. Each can help to guide us to a proper understanding of hope—what causes hope to flee, what makes it flourish.

In praying together with this theme, we can become the women of hope that our world needs so desperately.
