Sometimes we just need a simple reminder in our every day to ask God to enlighten our hearts to hope. It may be about a situation at hand--Oh Lord, enlighten the eyes of my heart to see beyond the face value of what is in front of me. This brings more compassion to our our days, helps us see the other and what she may be going through and provides us with a continual connection to the One who guides us.
