Jesus, as I express kindness and tenderness to those who are the easiest to love, aid me in lavishing Your love on those I find particularly difficult. Help me see You in the eyes of those I struggle to love. Abolish the obstacles I place to maintain my comfort, that keep me safely tucked away from loving those that You are gently pushing me towards. Most importantly, help me love others that think themselves not worthy of love, especially Yours. Plant in my heart whispers of encouragement to love others I have pushed away, so that I may be a greater reflection of Your creation, not the version of myself that picks and chooses who I love. Amen.
