How often we lean on our Lord and ask him to stay with us. To abide in us.
We cry this out to him when we're struggling and on our knees asking Him to stay with us through a trial.
We may even find ourselves saying it when we have a prayer answered just to stay in that moment for a little longer—scared for the moment of joy to pass.
-Padre Pio, Stay With Me prayer for after receiving Holy Communion
