Let's embrace the emptiness.
In a season that can be filled with all sorts of fun traditions and trinkets, what if we instead allowed ourselves to embrace some emptiness?
What if that emptiness is precisely where God wants to fill you with His everlasting peace, love, and joy?
How will we receive it if we are full on the world?

Meet the Author (& Inside Look)
Hear from Claire Dwyer all about the 2025 Advent Devotional for Catholic women called In Time.
It's all about the mystery of the now and not yet.
Life throws so much at us, and it can feel especially overwhelming as we approach the end of the year. The BIS Advent devotionals always help put me at ease the midst of the busyness and emotions of this time of year. I'm excited to pray with this year's theme of true hope—I can already feel it changing me so much.
When I need an inspiration in prayer or am lacking in my own words, the Advent devotional is a gentle redirection into contemplating where my heart is during this season of preparation. Instead of using these weeks to be idle, the daily prompts help me actively participate in this season and prepare my heart to fully receive Christ.

God's Always on Time
Advent is a sacred, set apart time.
But in a season that can be filled with all sorts of traditions and trinkets, what if we instead allowed ourselves to embrace some space?
This Advent, we’re invited to make room, sit in the tension, and surrender our timelines to the One Who wants to fill us with every good and perfect gift—nothing less than Himself.
How can we receive the Prince of Peace if we have no room for Him in the inn of our hearts?
