Let’s Make the Space // An Invitation to a College Women’s Bible Study

Hi friend! I’m Monica, and I want to grow in prayer and friendship with you! If you, like me, are a college student (or maybe just graduated last month!) — I want to invite you to come away this summer, once a week, to a college women's Bible study just for us gals who are in this season of life. 

All you need to bring is yourself and the Gospel of Matthew (follow along in your Bible or one of our beautiful Matthew studies!).

Reading Plan

Here’s why this is on my heart: This season of summer in particular is so set apart for us as students. It’s gift to have more space in my life after the busyness of the school year. But I don’t just want this space to lie empty or to grow cluttered. I want it to bear fruit.

The Lord really highlighted this gift of space for me last week in my backyard. This spring was rainier than most, causing all sorts of growth while I was away at school. Heading towards a little bench in the corner, I was startled by the blossoms of the bougainvillea bushes there — and by all the weeds, knee-high, threatening to choke the pink blooms in all their glory. If the flowers were going to keep growing, they would need more space.

And the Holy Spirit invited me — Will you make the space? The rain will come and the sun will shine, He will provide the grace and the growth. But will we give Him the space?

Let's do it! Let's give space in our calendars and hearts to Jesus by making the time to be in His Word each day. We’ll read Matthew on our own throughout the week (see reading plan below), then meet each Wednesday to pray and share together. Come once or every time — whatever works for you!
