Do you have a special Saint that you feel a strong connection to? How so?
St. Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, is my confirmation saint and I have always felt her prayers through my life. Two men I particularly admire who are currently not canonized by have causes for canonization are Venerable Fulton J. Sheen and Servant of God Emil Kapaun. Studying their lives and how they grew in holiness and heroic virtue has been encouraging and challenging to me. I hope to be like them.
Which virtue do you find yourself working on the most throughout your day?
The Cardinal Virtue I struggle with the most is temperance. Oy vey. You should pray for me.
What keeps you Catholic?
The Eucharist and the consistency of the Church's teachings. I also find great comfort in the Church's teachings on suffering and carrying our crosses.
