Ah, what a beautiful reminder in today's second reading from James 1:17,

All good giving and every perfect gift is from above.

I'd never noticed the first part of that verse, all good giving. It's not just the gifts that come from him, but also our giving. It is not me who gives of myself, but he who gives through me.

This week, let's be conscious of the gifts that we have in our lives. How do you like to cultivate gratitude in your daily routine? Do you make a gratitude list or have a specific moment in the day where you mentally note the things you are grateful for?
