Pearls entwine with silk,
wine and milk.
Life is made
to stare up at the stars
to converse and share
dreams, sorrows, cares.
Our Father in Heaven
hears every word,
counts every blink
every wound and sword
and flutter of the heart.
Hide not and fear nothing.
Abba, yours and mine
the same,
loves you, loves me
and sighs so deeply
for our love to Him.
You know His Name.
By Him you were conceived.
By Him, knit in your Mother’s womb.
There is nothing hidden
from his eye, from his heart
beating from Time immemorial.
Remember This: He loves you
as if you were His only child.
Deserve it not, but given it we are
this love, this gift,
bought and paid for by death,
death on a Cross.
Blood for blood
Life for life.
Forget it, never.
Remember all your days
how you are loved,
how he has loved you!
