Jesus gives us so much hope in today's gospel. He tells the woman, "do not weep." (Luke 11:13) He tells her not to be sad before he tells the dead man to rise. You see there is life to come, we don't have to cry. How many times in my own life do I sit in despair crying over something because I cannot see the light. We cannot forget whose we are! We have so much to rejoice in and to wait for.
