Wedding cake tasting, floral appointments, dress fittings . . . During my engagement, my calendar was booked with appointment upon appointment. Each day leading up to my wedding, color-coordinated, labeled, and thoughtfully prepared details consumed my mind up until the moment my head rested on my pillow each night. Throughout the wedding planning process, the Blessed Is She planner kept me organized and on top of all the details.
But now after joyfully saying those sacred and permanent vows at the altar on May 31, 2025, I am a wife, and a new season is upon me. “Behold! I am doing a new thing!” (see Isaiah 43:19)
Planning for a New Season
Various appointments, cleaning schedules, meal planning, date nights, and of course, scheduled daily prayer time, are now what fill my (our!) new schedule. And as intimidated as I am by this new role of homemaker, I have the perfect tool to help me every step of the way.
The Blessed Is She planner is set apart, created for such a time as this (see Esther 4:14). I believe it is a sacred tool that helps enable me to rightly order the days of my new, little family (God-willing, a party of three-plus one day). I may be capable of writing a short book on why the BIS planner has been my go-to planner for the past five years (I began using it even before I converted to Catholicism), but for now, I will settle for sharing seven ways the BIS planner is a gift to to the modern Catholic woman, no matter her vocation.
Seven Ways the BIS Planner Serves Catholic Women
Whether you are a new wife like me, a college student, a working single gal, a stay-at-home mom, or a grandmother, here are seven reasons why the BIS planner is the right fit for you.
- The BIS planner is entirely based around the Catholic liturgical calendar. The liturgical calendar is one of my favorite parts of our Catholic faith, and it could become yours too. Its rhythms and seasons help me pray, fast, and celebrate life all year long.
- Beauty matters. The BIS planner is so beautiful I want to see it, feel it, and use it each and every day.
- Prayer is made more fruitful with accountability. The planner includes daily prayer habit trackers, which have held me accountable when it comes to maintaining a consistent habit of spending time with Jesus.
- The prayer resources create greater clarity in my life’s mission. Found in front of the planner, these resources include the Rosary, Examination of Conscience, Holy Hour Guide, and other prayers that inspire me to stay focused on my one life priority: fulfilling the Great Commission (see Matthew 28:16-20).
- The integration of Scripture throughout the planner gives me life. The BIS planner includes a prayer prompt each month and a Bible verse each week that I am able to incorporate into my prayer time.
- My productivity is blessed by the use of the BIS planner. The meal planning, goal setting, prayer intentions, grocery lists, and other features all contribute to the ordering of my days.
- Gratitude is at the forefront of my mind with the BIS planner. With a daily prompt to recognize gratefulness, my heart and mind have been blessed by calling upon the goodness of the Lord in my day-to-day.

On the first of each month, a group of us meets in the Blessed Is She Member Community to pray and talk all about how we use the BIS planner. Please join us for these virtual monthly gatherings, as we drink deeply of prayer, sisterhood, and all things planner.
