We pledge that for the first part of the year 2016, we will pray daily together as a sisterhood.
Whether it be reading the daily devotions (subscribe here), prayer journaling, lectio divina, reading the Word, a rosary, silent time, etc., we will dive into prayer.
January 1st-31st will be a new start to the year and a time to dedicate ourselves again to even 10 minutes of devoted prayer time.
If you’re “in,” then comment below with a “Yes!” or “I’m in!” or “I’ll try!”
Whatever your response, know that you have sisters walking with you. Let’s hold each other accountable in prayer and in life.
Ponder the poem below (attribution is hard to find), and then comment with your pledge.
Disturb us, Lord, when
We are too well pleased with ourselves,
When our dreams have come true
Because we have dreamed too little,
When we arrived safely
Because we sailed too close to the shore.
Disturb us, Lord, to dare more boldly,
To venture on wider seas
Where storms will show your mastery;
Where losing sight of land,
We shall find the stars
